The EU introduced a regulation in 2009 stating that from November 2014 all new cars must have a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). This means that as of November 1st, 2012, all new passenger cars and mobile homes that are sold must be equipped with a TPMS. Since November 1, 2014, all newly registered cars and mobile homes must also have a TPMS. Manufacturers therefore install these systems in their new models, but there is no obligation to retrofit older vehicles.

The new regulation requires the installation of tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) in new vehicle models in order to increase road safety, reduce operating costs and reduce environmental pollution. TPMS automatically check the tire pressure and warn the driver of deviations either by displaying them directly in the cockpit or by illuminating a warning light.

1 sensor PLis a cost-effective replacement part specially developed for repairing TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems). It is easy to use and pre-programmed for select vehicle brands, eliminating the need to program hundreds or thousands of sensors. By using this fit-and-go solution at shop level, garages can reduce their costs and increase installation efficiency.
autel mx sensor
The programmable universalMX sensorfrom Autel is a 433MHz sensor that can be updated with an Autel wireless programming tool to provide the latest vehicle coverage. With only two sensor types, these TPMS sensors cover 98% of all OE sensors on the market and are ID-clonable, meaning there is no need to relearn the sensor. These sensors offer a flexible and cost-effective solution for tire pressure monitoring system repairs in workshops.

The Autel
MX sensorsoffer a value advantage with their broad coverage of 98% of all OE sensors on the market, inventory reduction by only having 2 sensor types and ID-clonable feature that does not require sensor re-learning. They can be wirelessly programmed using Autel TPMS service tools. They are independently tested and certified to meet SAE standards. Autel also offers a 24-month warranty against material and manufacturing defects. These sensors are a cost-effective and easy-to-use solution for tire pressure monitoring system repairs in workshops and supported by Autel MaxiTPMS Tools.
